With over 15 years’ experience as a corporate attorney, Robb focuses on U.S. and Canadian securities law, providing strategic guidance to established companies, emerging growth businesses, financial institutions, broker-dealers, investment advisers, and private equity firms. His passion for technology has led him to develop deep expertise in AI, AI governance, and technology law, enabling him to effectively serve clients navigating the complex intersection of emerging technologies and regulatory compliance.
Prior to joining BAX Securities Law, Robb practiced securities and corporate law at Thompson LLP in New York, where he focused on U.S. securities law, corporate transactions, and venture capital financings. His transactional experience includes private placements, venture financings, M&A transactions, and strategic partnerships for established companies, emerging growth businesses, financial institutions, broker-dealers, investment advisers, and private equity firms.
Robb is licensed to practice in New York (2018), Ontario (1998), and British Columbia (1996).
Robb is particularly dedicated to providing Fractional General Counsel services to Canadian and U.S. technology, manufacturing, and services companies operating cross-border and internationally. He thrives on working closely with entrepreneurs and diverse teams to solve complex legal, data, privacy, and technical challenges, delivering pragmatic, business-minded guidance that accelerates growth while managing risk across multiple jurisdictions.
